Using Olowl

Olowl is a compliance review service for supplement and CPG brands: you submit a product label and marketing materials, we run an automated compliance screen, and a human reviewer sends back an audit report. By submitting a product, you agree to these terms.

What this service is — and isn't

Our audit reports are an internal compliance review meant to help you catch labeling and marketing issues before they become a problem. They are:

• Not legal advice. Olowl is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
• Not a guarantee of compliance. A report from us doesn't mean your product is guaranteed to satisfy the FDA, FTC, or any other regulator. Laws change, and enforcement is case-by-case.
• Not a substitute for qualified counsel. Before any formal regulatory submission or launch decision, have a qualified attorney review your materials.

Your submission

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, and for having the right to submit it. Don't submit content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or that you don't have permission to share.

Turnaround and availability

We target a 48–72 hour turnaround for reviews, but this isn't a guaranteed service level. The service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis, and we may need to pause or change it without notice.

Acceptable use

Don't use automated tools to submit large volumes of content, attempt to interfere with the service, or try to manipulate the AI review process (for example, by embedding hidden instructions aimed at the reviewer or the model). Submissions that appear to do this may be flagged for manual review or refused.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Olowl isn't liable for losses arising from your reliance on a report we provide, including regulatory action, product recalls, or business losses. You remain responsible for your own compliance decisions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update this page and the date above.
